Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 23, 2026

Twig is an offline-first desktop application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data.

What data does Twig collect?

None. Twig runs entirely on your local machine. Your presentations (.tb files) are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server. Twig does not require an account, does not use analytics or tracking, and does not phone home.

Network access

Twig may connect to the internet solely to check for application updates via GitHub Releases. No personal information is transmitted during this process.

Third-party services

Twig does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics providers.

Local storage

Twig stores application preferences and recent file history locally on your device using standard OS-level storage mechanisms (e.g., Electron's userData directory). This data never leaves your device.

Children's privacy

Twig does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Since Twig collects no data, substantive changes are unlikely.
